The troop will be camping in the Hemlock Lodge at Camp Tuckahoe, Dillsburg, PA.
The Troop will be heading out for a fun and informative weekend camping adventure at the Gettysburg National Battlefield. Plans include Scout-led meal prep while at Camp, as well as experiencing one of the most famous Civil War battles in US history through interpretative hiking and exploration of Gettysburg.
Scouts will hike the 9.7 mi Billy Yank Trail of the Gettysburg National Historic Trails program on Saturday and explore the Eisenhower National Historic Site on Sunday, but the full program will require a 2nd weekend (date TBD). More info on the Trail can be found here.
Estimated Cost: $40-$50 per person for the weekend.
Want to earn money for camp and have fun with your fellow Scouts?
We've been invited to offer up breakfast and lunch food options for the Model A car show at the Goodwill Fire Company in Trexlertown.
Scouts will sign-up for shifts and serve food and drink to hungry car show attendees. Profits will be shared among Scouts who volunteer at the event and can be used for Scouting events and Summer Camp!
We're looking for Scouts to volunteer their morning to help out at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum World War II Weekend at the Reading Airport.
We'll likely be meeting at the Church at 7:00am, serving the WWII weekend from 8AM to 12PM, eating lunch, and then exploring the event for the afternoon.
In exchange for 4 hours of service, Scouts are admitted free of charge and provided a meal. All Scouts and Scouters must be in their Class A Uniforms.

Sinoquipe Scout Reservation, nestled in the mountains of south central Pennsylvania, is Shenandoah Area Council’s base camp for our Scouts BSA summer program and features 500 picturesque acres, including a 10-acre lake.
Sinoquipe offers a traditional summer camp program where Scouts of all ages are sure to have lots of fun in the outdoors.

The Klondike Derby is an all-outdoor event where patrols of Scouts can put their winter camping and scout skills to the test in a friendly, competitive environment.
Our Troop competed in the middle of a Winter storm and had a blast!
A unique camp-in experience where Scouts can bring their Electronic devices for playing games together, cooking meals and taking the occasional outdoor hike break!
